A man escaped with cash after robbing a bank in Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday.

The suspect entered the Wilshire Bank located at 8045 Archibald Avenue Thursday at 2:34 p.m. before he handed a note to one of the tellers, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff's news release.

The note indicated he was armed. After the teller gave him an undisclosed amount of cash, he ran northbound through the parking lot, according to the release.

Witnesses said the suspect was a white man between 35 and 40 years old. He was dressed well in a white button up dress shirt, black pants, black shoes, black coat, black hat and black sun glasses.
