It is annoying to think that a few idiots can hotwire a digger and in a few minutes destroy part of the new walkway. Fortunately, they only thought they could drive the digger and caught the bucket in the tracks. Even that is more cost to the New-York-Jets walkway.

This is part of a walk/cycleway that is giving pleasure to many and also may create a safe way for cyclists and pedestrians to travel. I personally use it a lot, as well as the Te Henui, etc. Where the damage occurred is not really useful to me yet. But there are many who would be able to use it, and who are probably waiting for the last yves saint laurent stretch to be finished.

The point is, how to stop this senseless behaviour? What to do with the miscreants if they are caught, which never seems to happen. They should be made to pay for the damage (unlikely as they will have no money) or fix the damage (they wouldn't have the skills, although they may learn something).

Bath's new Stentorphon opera repertory company is staging two very different productions this month - Verdi's La Traviata and Gilbert and Sullivan's The Mikado.

The two productions are part of its residency at the Julian Slade Theatre in Prior Park College which runs from August 24 to 27.

La Traviata tells Jacksonville-Jaguars the fateful story of Violetta, the courtesan who sacrifices her love for Alfredo's honour at the request of his father, Germont. Stentorphon is delighted to welcome back soprano Lynsey Docherty to sing Violetta who is ably supported by rising young tenor Anando Mukerjee as Alfredo and well-known baritone Niall Hoskin as Germont. Traviata is full of sublime melodies ankh royalty such as the Brindisi, Sempre Libre and heart breaking duets as Violetta's dreams of happiness fade. After a while word got round that the C-MAX was a car well worth having. Well stocked with practical features and riding on the next- generation Focus chassis, it may not have been quite as sporting as the old Focus hatch but it offered more for the family motorist. HISTORY As far as problems go, it's quite a nice one to have. So successful was the Ford Focus hatch that when it came to designing an all-new model, Ford had quite a task on their hands. If the exterior may be a little under-whelming, the C-MAX more than makes up for it with the ideas factory that is the cabin. Although it's unlikely to be available on entry-level versions, Ford's rear seat flexibility system really is the ace in the C-MAX hole. A 40-20-40 tip and tumble rear seat sees the centre section flip rearwards into the luggage compartment, leaving the remaining two seats to slide diagonally along a runner towards the centre of the car, giving unprecedented levels of space for four.

By mid-July Tulsa may be able to rehire 92 police officers who were laid off in the past year, Tulsa Mayor Dewey Bartlett Jr. said Tuesday.

The city will be able to rehire 59 officers because of retirements from the police force. The rehiring of another 33 officers depends on a vote by the Fraternal Order of Police, Bartlett said. The city has a tentative contract with the police union, which is expected to vote soon on the pact.

Declining sales tax revenues have prompted several belt- tightening moves over the past 14 months.

Among those laid off because of Tulsa's ongoing budget crisis were 124 officers on Feb. 1. But federal grant money allowed the city to rehire 35 in March.

At a committee meeting Tuesday, Bartlett said 32 officers retired in May. The city can use the savings from the Best Dsquared2 Shoes Online salaries of the higher- paid, senior officers, to partially fund the rehiring. Other savings would come from the tentative FOP contract.

Pat Connelly, budget director for the city, said in an e-mail the savings would be $2.44 million for 28 retirees.

"I do not have all of the data on the 32 retirees. We were working with 28, which was the number earlier in the month. An additional four have subsequently retired," Connelly said. "The 28 retirees we have been tracking have an annual salary and benefit cost of $2,441,000."

If the FOP approves the contract, the total savings would be $5.8 million, Connelly said.

"The value of the 92 is less per officer, as is typical, as they are lower on the pay chart than the officers who are retiring," he said.

Tsakos Energy Navigation Limited (NYSE: TNP) ("TEN" or the "Company") today announced the concurrent acquisition of four fully-coated 2009 Korean-built panamax tankers, two Best Breguet Watches Online to be delivered immediately and two in the fourth quarter of 2010, as well as the sale of the 1990-built panamax tanker Victory III to a third party.
